This is the first test for sword. It is modelled and animated in 3ds Max but the texturing side is not started yet since we needed to make sure the coding part was ok. In the upcoming weeks, an arm will be added to the sword and some tracing issues will be handled together with texturing.
AI Navigation is achieved by using navigation meshes. AI does not follow player until he is visible by the AI. Once visible, player is followed throughout the level even he is not in sight of the AI Pawn.
The user interface of the game is designed on Adobe Flash CS4 and using Scaleform integration, exported into UDK. There are four screens that user can interact, namely, Main Menu, Options Menu, Load Game Menu and Pause Menu. These screens are initial designs and more work will be done throughout the upcoming months.
